Time for an English entry: I came back from Banankélédaga and Bobo-Dioulasso last Friday and the weekend have I spent by the poolside. Well not completely, I have hung out with the other volunteers that I wrote about in an earlier entry as well (however, we hung out by the poolside). I was also invited to my supervisor Göran for Sunday dinner, where I was served Senegalese food (my supervisors wife is from Senegal) that was amazing. This was the first time I met my supervisor as he was in Zambia last time I was in Ouagadougou, I was lucky to be able to get back this week because he is going to Senegal on Friday and then Stockholm, so it would have been a bit sad to not be able to meet him at all during my whole stay. During the last weeks here in Ouagadougou I will try to meet some contacts within the water resources sector that I got from Göran, I will also prepare the presentation that I will have on the Swedish embassy next week on what I have done so far in project so that together with hanging by the pool will probably keep my schedule busy during the last couple of weeks.

Time is going really fast and I have realised that it is only 2,5 weeks left here in Burkina. But on the other hand it really feels like I have had enough time here to do my project, the data collection in Bobo-Dioulasso took for instance one week less to do than I had expected, so I think that it will be quite perfect in time to go home and start writing the report. The weather here makes it a bit difficult to be able to focus on writing the report, especially when I had to move my “office” to hotel palmiers this afternoon to have access to internet. The Internet here at le Samandin does not work for the moment, that means no high speed Internet, so I am using my mobile Internet instead (which at least, when it works, is a lot faster here than it was in Banankélédaga).
